Property Description
Salinella is a beautiful, comfortable holiday villa rental with private swimming pool situated near Trapani, ancient town at the extreme western point of Sicily.
The vacation rental is set on the edge of Trapani's salt pans nature reserve, an area where the salt has been extracted over the centuries. Operated by WWF, the nature reserve with its typical windmills is a very important stopover site for many birds, particularly flamingos, on their migration from and to Africa.
Surrounded by a well-tended, lush garden with lawn, the recently renovated villa consisting of a main unit and an outbuilding offers an amazing infinity pool and spacious, panoramic terraces, which are ideal for dining al fresco and which enjoy lovely views of the surrounding landscape.
The bright, cozy interior of the villa is equally inviting: there are seven double bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Excellent base for exploring the charming surrounding area, Salinella is only a short drive away from the close beach of Marausa Lido and the old town centres of Trapani and Marsala. Among the places well worth a visit are also the medieval village of Erice, the temples of Segesta and Selinunte, the Egadi islands and the Zingaro nature reserve with the popular beach of San Vito Lo Capo.

A deposit of 25% of the total rental amount is due at the time a booking is confirmed and it is not refundable. The balance is due no later than 75 days prior arrival. For bookings confirmed less than 75 days prior arrival, the full rental amount is due at confirmation.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida Villa in 8 persone. Innanzitutto vogliamo ringraziare Michele, il proprietario, per la sua infinita disponibilità ed accoglienza, discreta ma presente. La Villa corrisponde alle immagini dell'annuncio, che però non trasmettono la sensazione di pace e serenità che si respira in quel posto. Vacanza all'insegna quindi della tranquillità immersi vicino al paesaggio "lunare" delle saline di Trapani.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 14 Personen und haben eine Woche im Haupthaus (10 Personen) und dem kleineren Gästehaus (4 Personen und ein Baby) verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und lässt keine Wünsche offen, insbesondere der Pool ist spitze! Wir können die Unterkunft jedenfalls empfehlen.

This is a beautiful and stylish villa with a lovely pool and garden, full of birds and butterflies.
It is in a fairly remote part of Sicily (within an area of natural beauty), so you need to drive to most places. But the local village store has wonderful icecream, and the local salt pans has a good trattoria with romantic sunsets, both within 15 minutes walk. Michele, the host, is charming and very helpful
