Me and my family had the best vacation in Isolina´s villa Le Giare. The villa is superb, the setting is beautiful with views down into the valley up to Cortona. We had such a wonderful week celebrating a birthday in the family. The villa was clean, beautifully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and a fabulous apartments. The pool and outdoor sitting and dining areas are outstanding. From the beginning, Isolina was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a great week at Villa Giare, calm and clean place with outstanding scenery and amazing staff. Isolina and her family/staff took fantastic care of us, cooking lunches and dinners for 21 people.
If you are looking for a large gathering of friends and/or family, with or without children, where you wish everyone to be together, but also be able be on their own, this is the perfect place.

We rented the Villa for a week for a family of 29 people. We had lots of room to hang out together and then were able to retreat to our own apartments in the evening.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Le Giare! Twelve adults and twelve kids all fit without a problem, the setup with multiple different apartments and a joint larger kitchen was perfect for us. The views are spectacular and the pool area perfect. The owner was super friendly and any issues during the week (like a toilet not flushing and a broken light) were sorted out immediately. We highly recommend this place for large groups!

This large villa easily accommodated our group of 18 people. We had plenty of space to spread out aided by the fact that each apartment in the villa had its own bathroom and kitchen. There's also a main kitchen for nights when people want to cook together. The outdoor spaces are amazing - we were able to find cool, shady spots to congregate in throughout the day and the views from the pool can't be beat. Speaking of the pool, it was a godsend, as Tuscany was in the grips of a heatwave that week. Wasn't hard to soak in the pool with friends while taking in the view of Cortona. Our host, Isolina, was great as well - we had a problem with the air conditioners in a couple of rooms the first day and she was unrelenting in her efforts to fix them. Much appreciated! She also was able to sell us excellent and reasonably-priced wine on site, as well as offering olive oil produced on the farm itself. She made herself available for any questions or issues we might have - excellent service. Lastly, the village of Fratticciola is small and quiet, but near everything - you can easily take trips to Cortono, Sienna, Florence, Assisi, Arezzo, Montepulciano, etc. It was great to visit these locations and then escape the tourists to come home (and inevitably jump in the pool). It was hard to leave.
