Seven spacious, charactaristic apartments that have been tastefully and meticulously restored, located in a large farmhouse that was once a medieval Church.
Situated in the enchanting area of the Toscana region, this wonderful country house offers an exclusive panorama over the charming landscape of Siena and allows to appreciate all the natural, historical and culinary characteristics of this beautiful locality in Tuscany.
San Donnino offers its guests a wonderful pool to spend full of fun moments with family and friends, a large garden that makes unique your stay in the warm seasons. The farmhouse has a beautiful interior court yard, and about 50 m away is a completely renovated barn.
Located south of Siena on the edge of the Crete Senesi, the property enjoys a tranquil, panoramic position inside a large farm (400 hectares) that produces wine and olive oil. Magnificent view of the countryside, characterized by the rolling hills of the Val D’Orcia and the city of Siena on the horizon. The apartments are furnished in a comfortable, rustic style. Outside, guests may use a charming, partially covered terrace (110m2) with a beautiful view.
The property can also be rented in its entirety for small groups, in which case guests may use a large, shared common room with kitchen.
Access to the property is via a 3 km unpaved but well-maintained road.
At guests’ disposal:
Extra services to be paid on the spot: Baby bed (free of charge). Maid service available upon request (€ 12,- / hour). It is possible to rent a large common room (30 people) with kitchen (large oven, dishwasher, freezer) and bathroom with shower (€ 400,- / week) accessible from outside or through apartments Donnino 1 and 5.

2 minpuntjes keuken valt nogal klein uit en geen airco wat we wel konden gebruiken bij een temperatuur van 35 tot 39 graden

We had a wonderful stay at San Donnino. One of the best parts about it was the owner. He speaks excellent English and is very happy to provide information about life in Tuscany. Often when travelling you can feel that you don't understand what makes a place "tick" but being able to talk to the owner over a glass of wine gave us a great insight into this area of Italy.
The property itself was very clean and spacious and the grounds and pool lovely and well cared for. The location is close to Siena and does require you to hop in the car anytime you want to go out.
The property's house wine was great and very inexpensive.
The only negative was that the apartment was supposed to have wifi but in reality, the only way you could get wifi was to either sit in the toilet which was the closest place to the router or to sit in the little alcove outside of where the main computer is situated. Given that my husband had to work whilst we were away, this was a bit of an inconvenience.

Every year we spend a week in Tuscany, but this year our stay there was the most pleasant. The owners of San Donnino are very nice and professional, we have our privacy, nevertheless we know the owners can be reached at any time in case of our need. oue flat, the whole villa and its surroundings, the pool... were really beautiful. We really had a wonderful time and are sure to come back again.

Our family of 5 adults loved everything about San Donnino! The owner was truly interested in our comfort and satisfaction. The property was located in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany, and Siena was only a 20 minute ride away. The pool area was beautiful, and there were several good osteria nearby. We will stay there again.
