The complete renovation of the estate was finalised and for the 2026 season: now offers 14 brand-new apartments available to rent.
Each unit is tastefully furnished, featuring travertine stone, terracotta flooring, and exposed wooden beams, along with all the amenities needed for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
This exclusive retreat is nestled among the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The beautifully maintained garden boasts a lovely swimming pool, shared by guests of the property. The pool is bordered by a travertine sunbathing area, complete with sun loungers and umbrellas — the perfect spot to relax and cool off with family or friends on warm summer days.
Borgo Ariano is ideally situated for enjoying the natural beauty of Tuscany and exploring the region’s many attractions, including Volterra, San Gimignano, and the historic cities of Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, as well as the Tuscan coast.
The warm and welcoming owners manage the property personally and live just a short distance away, ensuring they are always on hand should guests need any assistance.
Access to the property is via a well-maintained unpaved road.

Ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem Domizil mit tollen Wohnungen.Die Gegend ist einzigartig.Die Wohnung ist großzügig und hat alles, was man benötigt.Alles sauber und gepflegt.Genügend Platz zum Kochen und Essen. Ein kleiner Kochtopf mehr wäre noch etwas idealer. Aber hätten wir den Verwalter gefragt, wäre auch das kein Problem gewesen.

Very nice, spatious, modern and clean appartments in a lovely place near Volterra. The site is still being expanded with other buildings. It is a former small village that is gradually being converted into accomodations. Very nice owner.

The pool area invites to spend the day and some very nice cities and towns are in a radious of 20 mins to 1 hour.
The perfect place for a mix of relaxing at the pool and sightseeing.
The owner and the staff were very much accommodating.

Eine schöne Ferienanlage mit Potential. Der Pool ist wunderschön und groß genug, sodass man auch wirklich schwimmen kann.
Zwei Liegen waren leider schon kaputt (der Stoff war zerrissen) und man konnte sie nicht mehr nutzen. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, sehr ruhig. Und zugleich ist man in gut 10 Minuten in Volterra. Auch zu anderen Städten kann man problemlos Tagesausflüge unternehmen. Es war alles vorhanden, also das Nötigste. Aber auch hier wäre es schön etwas mehr Besteck zur Verfügung zu stellen, da man mit vier Personen nach einer Mahlzeit sonst direkt wieder spülen muss. Kleine Schälchen für z.B. Müsli oder Salat haben gefehlt.Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und wunderschön.
Die Gemeinschaftsterrasse wirkt etwas trostlos. Es wäre schöner, wenn man auch hier Sonnenschirme und Topfpflanzen aufstellen würde (so wie im Poolbereich), das wäre viel einladender.

Location molto bella, proprietario gentilissimo e disponibilissimo per soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza! Appartamento ben arredato e moderno. Suggeriamo di prevedere una lavatrice ad uso comune e degli stendibiancheria per ciascun appartamento in quanto si eviterebbe di stendere sulle ringhiere ogni genere di indumento che poi vola in terra e il risultato è esteticamente brutto. Inoltre prevedere negli appartamenti dei ganci per appendere gli indumenti/asciugamani e un microonde. Nel complesso vacanza super rilassante!!

We had a wonderful stay at Borgio Ariano apartment the apartment was immaculate, modern & beautifully decorated. The apartment has everything you need with a very large sofa bed. The pool area is well kept and a lovely place to relax and cool off in the stunning grounds. We look forward to returning. Staff were very helpful with any requests.

Sehr schöne & gepflegte Anlage, ruhig gelegen in wunderschöner Umgebung. Das Apartment sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, gute Betten! Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Alle unsere Anfragen sind direkt beantwortet worden. Die Anlage liegt in der Nähe von Volterra, ca 15 Minuten Autofahrt. Dort ist auch der nächstgelegene Supermarkt. Das muss man unbedingt in Betracht ziehen. Ganz in der Nähe gab es ein Restaurant mit atemberaubendem Ausblick und gutem Essen. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Erfahrung! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gli appartamenti sono nuovi, ampi e progettati con cura, si trovano in una splendida Proprietà tranquilla, nella campagna,in posizione ideale per visitare i dintorni. Un ringraziamento particolare va al titolare, estremanente gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa avessimo bisogno. Avendo trascorso solo un week end non abbiamo avuto il tempo di goderci la bellissima piscina, ritorneremo!

The location coordinates provided were accurate and we found the estate easily. The parking lot was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment was very spacious too and spotlessly clean. It was also very well equipped. The internet was very good. The beds were big and comfortable. The second bathroom was a great convenience. The tables outside, in front of the apartment, were a nice place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or just the view, which was beautiful. It would have been even better if there were more hangers in the bathrooms for the used towels, or some simple equipment to hang them to dry after use. But as it was obvious that the place has been renovated soon, maybe such appliances are expected to be delivered for the summer season. Because this place is perfect for a summer vacation - the pool, the view, the barbecue, the proximity to Volterra and not only. We loved the time we spent there and we would love to come back again.

It is a very beautiful place in the middle of Tuscany! A lovely, quiet place and the apartments look very nice and clean. Very beautiful, clean swimming pool. Very friendly owners who are willing to help with anything! I can recommend it to everyone. We visited all the famous cities in the area. We had a wonderful stay at Borgo ariano. The place is set in the heart of a truly beautiful Tuscan landscape, surrounded by peaceful countryside — a real haven of peace. The apartment was spacious, modern, very clean and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. We immediately felt at home.
The swimming pool is also fantastic, and the whole property is very well maintained. The location is perfect: very close to Volterra and San Gimignano, and also a great base to visit Siena and Florence. Federico was very welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations, which made our stay even better.
A beautiful, relaxing place in authentic Tuscany — we would happily come back and highly recommend it.

We were in Borgo Ariano in summer 2025 and had a really great time. The apartement was clean and wonderful. Kitchen, bathroom, rooms are just perfect. The stuff was very nice and helpful in any cases. As a family we enjoyed the pool very much. Also we rented E-Bikes. Other guests were also nice. We plan to come back next year. In Borgo Ariano and the surroundings (Volterra is only 10 min away) you´ll get the very typical Tuscany feeling you are lookin for.

In this newly renovated Borgo you’ll get your vacation you deserve. Excellent facilities and architecture, big comfortable rooms with AC, nice, well equipped kitchen. REALLY nice beds and pillows, even the bed sofa is as comfortable as a real bed. The pool area is nice with salt water pool! The staff who are working there are so dedicated and determined to make your vacation the best one. The hospitality, the knowledge and their creativity.

There is a neighboring farm who has horse and quad bike excursions, we did both and we enjoyed it highly. A lot of great restaurants in the area. Just 2 min drive to a nice pizza, best pasta in Mazzolla, amazing restaurants in Volterra.
Perfect located between Volterra and San Gimignano, Siena and Firenze are within an hour drive.
