La Valle 1 Castelfalfi

Casala La Valle liegt auf dem Gelände des Toscana Resorts Castelfalfi und die Zufahrt wird abends verschlossen. So können nur Gäste des Resorts auf das Gelände kommen. Das gekoppelt mit einem Sicherheitsdienst, der regelmäßig nach dem Rechten schaut, gibt einem in der etwas abgelegenen Gegend ein Gefühl von Sicherheit.
Durch die Lage des Ortes erreicht man die Touristenmagnete Pisa, Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano und Volterra recht gut. Supermärkte sind allerdings nur mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Da in der Küche der geräumigen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung ein großer Kühlschrank und ein Gefrierschrank mit 3 Fächern vorhanden ist, lässt es sich aber gut auf Vorrat einkaufen. Das Gebäude und das Außengelände sind sauber und gut gepflegt.
Die Betreuung durch Posarelli war sehr gut. Auf unsere Fragen wurde umgehend geantwortet und nach Rücksprache war es sogar möglich, vor dem offiziellen Check-in Zeitfenster in die Wohnung zu kommen. Auch das Auschecken lief reibungslos.
Da wir alleine Im Haus waren, konnten wir nach anregenden Ausflügen die Ruhe in einer wohltuenden Umgebung genießen. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Die Umgebung des Hauses ist einfach traumhaft schön, Toskana wie aus dem Bilderbuch!

The villa and surrounding area are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. We spent six days there and were sad to leave. Castelfalfi is very centrally located to all the major towns in Tuscany. Most places are about 30-45 minutes away. The villa itself is within a beautiful hotel and golf resort, so you have access to nice restaurants on the property nearby. We loved the kitchen. It has two large sets of French doors that open up completely so that you feel like you’re indoor/outdoor at the same time. We loved cooking and eating there - though we mostly ate in the covered patio, which has a nice picnic table.We loved the kitchen. The three major sites - San Gimignano, Sienna, Volterra, Pisa - are all 30-45 minutes away. Florence is about 1h20 minutes.The pool is nice though it’s often filled with bugs given that the villa is out in the countryside. However the property is well maintained and we saw staff cleaning the pool a few times during our stay.

hervorragend. Wir hätten uns einige kleine Messer für Obst und Brettchen gewünscht.
Für ein gemütliches Essen mit der Familie im Freien wären statt der Holzbank Stühle mit Lehne bequemer. Ebenfalls haben wir Liegestühle auf der Terrasse vermisst.

Splendid house/apartment in a quiet location. Tidy and sufficiently equipped. Magnificent views.
Inside: perfect air conditioning. Wi-fi is weak and only works in the kitchen, living room and one bedroom. Well equipped: dishwasher and washing machine work perfectly and are clean. Some doors to go outside do not open, it should be repaired. There was an ant invasion but the staff took care of it.
Outside: nice roofed terrace to enjoy your meals. The pool is wonderful yet there were a lot of bugs in it even though it is cleaned everyday. It didn't take the fun away. We were there alone but in case of multiple guests, there is not enough pool furniture.
Logistics and arrangement: staff is friendly and willing to help. We had an issue with the magnetic card to enter the domain. It could have been prevented but they came wit a solution. The arrangement of having to pay the deposit cash and then have a refund on your bank account is old fashioned. There should be a better administrative flow. Overall: splendid stay, nice apartment. We recommend it!
